This globally known activist has just received an award in Europe for his contribution to the environment. He has 18 honorary doctorates.
Discussion about climate change: Solutions for the planet
Many lectures talk about climate change, which is the subject of the hour. A discussion called “Solutions for the planet” will be dedicated to presenting solutions to this threatening problem. The panel will be made up of Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, Dominic Champagne, Laure Waridel, Karel Mayrand of the David Suzuki Foundation, Camil Bouchard and André Belisle of the AQLPA (the provincial association of the fight against atmospheric pollution), winner of a “Phénix de l’environnement” award for his 30 years of involvement. An evening filled with reflexions hosted by domlebo. The evening ends in laughter with Christian Vanasse of the Zapartistes, Jici Lauzon and with music by domlebo. Tickets are on sale online on our website.
Nature will be well represented with Oliver Hollel of the prestigious “UN Convention on Biological Diversity.” This new feature is in collaboration with Stratégies St-Laurent and MEC. We will also talk about the issue of the emerald ash borer. Pierre Lussier of the Jour de la Terre (Earth Day) will discuss the issue and the solutions to slow the spread and manage the impact of the emerald ash borer on all lands.
Actress Maxim Roy of 19-2, nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards and the series “O” and Sabine Karsenti of Écologia Montréal will be our spokespeople.
