Meeting with Robin Klehr Avia and Thomas Vecchione, from Gensler
On February 9, Index-Design launched the eighth edition of its Guide to 200 interior designers from Quebec at Italbec’s Pop Up Shop. More than 600 interior designers, architects and vendors came out to celebrate the launch.
Still an indispensable reference
The guide represents the combined research and documentation work of the Index-Design team. The 2017 edition celebrates the excellent work of Quebec’s interior designers and serves as an unparalleled reference work. The directory as well as the beautifully illustrated features help clients make informed decisions, reflecting the guide’s primary mission: helping potential clients make contact with the right designer.
The team conducted in-depth research using carefully defined criteria in order to build the guide’s list of 200 professionals, 20% of them being based in the Quebec City area this year. Organized into regions and listed alphabetically, each company’s entry includes full contact information, the number of employees, specialization, founding date and affiliations. The guide also presents a list of APDIQ members (Association of professional interior designers of Quebec).
The launch was presented by Italbec and Ceasarstone, and in partnership with the design firm 45 NORD atelier, TKNL, MP Repro, Restaurant Mile-Ex, Cointreau, St-Rémy et Les Cabinets. The guide is now available from Index-Design’s online store for $14.95. The Repertoire section of Index-Design's website presents a preview of the designers’ portfolios.
Launched in 2006, Index-Design is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Founded by designers for designers, the company’s mission is to create connections between professionals in the Quebec interior design industry, to inspire creators and to highlight talents by offering a wide range of products and services: printed publications, directories, product launches, master classes, a circuit and more. These tools help consolidate bonds between designers and suppliers by encouraging interior design and architecture professionals to share their thoughts and ideas.
